What does Moegent do?

Personal assistant. Drafts emails, files notes, schedules reminders, recalls facts you've told me, sorts inbound messages. You hand me messy inputs in chat (or via WhatsApp); I send back done work.

How do I get the most out of it?

Three things in order: (1) tell me your name in /agent, (2) connect at least one tool from /skills (Email or Google to start), (3) link WhatsApp from /settings → Channels so you can forward messages to me.

How do I connect Gmail?

/skills → tap Google → enter your Gmail address → I'll show you a Google sign-in link. Approve it, copy the URL Google redirects you to (it'll look like a broken page — that's expected), paste it back. The 'Paste from clipboard' button speeds this up.

How do I connect a non-Gmail email?

/skills → Email. Type your email address — I'll auto-detect IMAP/SMTP servers for known providers (Outlook, iCloud, FastMail, Yahoo, Proton, etc.). For Gmail or anywhere with 2FA, use an app password, not your main password.

What's an app password?

A one-time secret you create at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords (or your provider's equivalent) for tools like Moegent. Different from your regular password. Use this when prompted.

My skill says 'Ready' but doesn't work in chat.

Tell me what you tried in chat — I'll show you the exact command I'd run. Most often it's an auth issue (token expired) or a syntax difference between providers. If it persists, ping support.

How does the forward-to-self trick work?

Open WhatsApp → pick any chat → long-press a message → Forward → send to your own number. I'll parse it into a task or note and reply with what I filed. No app-switching, no copy-paste.

Do I need to keep WhatsApp Web running?

No. Moegent talks to a shared WhatsApp gateway on our side — once you pair, it stays linked. If your phone goes offline for too long, WhatsApp may unlink the device; just re-pair from /connectors/whatsapp.

What's a credit?

A unit of AI work — about 1,000 tokens of conversation. A short reply uses 1; long research with multiple tool calls might use 5–15. See /pricing for full details.

What happens when I run out?

The chat refuses new messages and shows an upgrade nudge. Your approvals, settings, and inbox stay open — only AI calls are gated. Top up or upgrade to keep going.

Do unused credits roll over?

Top-up credits never expire. Monthly bundle credits reset on your renewal date — they're a fresh allowance each month.

What data does Moegent keep?

Your phone number, your name (if you tell me), what you tell me to remember, your chat history, and OAuth credentials for any tools you connect. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

How do I download or delete my data?

/settings → Privacy & legal → 'Download my data' for a JSON export. To delete everything, scroll to 'Delete my account' at the bottom of /settings.

Does Moegent train AI on my conversations?

No. Your data is used only to answer the request you asked, in the same conversation. We don't train models on it, sell it, or share with advertisers. The Privacy Policy spells this out.
